Bob DeSantis - Chief Executive Officer
Over the past few days, I’ve had the pleasure of personally informing our Southeast Florida customers that new services are now available to them and a network enhancement has begun.
Since purchasing the Host.net business, 365 has been executing a year-long plan to better serve the Southeast Florida market by broadening and improving the service offerings that existed when Host.net was a stand-alone operator. We started by connecting the Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale Data Centers to all of 365’s eight other Data Center facilities, providing low cost access to ten national data centers and fifteen other points of presence for back-up, disaster recovery, and connectivity. As this redundant, geographically diverse access was built, we also sized the capacity of this transport and IP transit network to serve the growing needs of all 365 customers. We then enhanced the capacity and performance of our cloud platform through meaningful investments in hardware, storage, systems and network engineering, and advanced technology. More recently, we re-located our backup cloud platform from a third party site to our own data center in Nashville in order to assure on-net access and on-site technicians for our customers.
We’re excited to inform our current and prospective customers that we remain on schedule with our 2018 plan by making a significant investment in our Southeast Florida network infrastructure. Upgrades are being made to our network in the Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale and Miami markets to boost capacity and redundancy and provide several intelligent network management features. These network enhancements will allow 365 to deliver the same high quality services in Southeast Florida as it does in its other markets. Moreover, our network engineers and NOC staff are now better equipped to proactively assure the reliability and speeds and feeds that our customers expect.
365 Data Centers has consistently broadened service offerings and made investments in infrastructure, technology, and technical personnel in Southeast Florida. We are committed to executing this final phase of our 2018 plan on a timely basis.
What does this mean for our customers outside of Southeast Florida? It means enhanced network capacity, redundancy, and lower latency, along with enhanced cloud platform performance and additional virtual services. These enhancements demonstrate our success in transforming 365 Data Centers from a connectivity-rich, colocation services business to a hybrid data center services provider by layering on best-of-breed network transport, IP transit, cloud and other virtual solutions such as Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS) through Veeam and Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS). We will continue to add industry-leading solutions to our portfolio of services.
Please talk to us about these expanded service offerings – we would be happy to answer any of your questions and customize a solution for you. You can reach us at 866-365-6246 or email@example.com. We will keep you posted on all service enhancements in the pipeline.
