Bob DeSantis - CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Bob DeSantis is an accomplished executive and entrepreneur who has held senior leadership positions in public and private, competitive and regulated companies within the communications, technology, and energy industries. He has been a leader in acquiring, building and growing businesses and arranging for their initial public offerings and other strategic events. Bob’s expertise spans strategy, operations, finance, corporate law, real estate, and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to becoming the CEO of 365 Data Centers, Bob was the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Xand, which became the leading, privately owned, data center, managed services and cloud services operator in the Northeast prior to its sale to Tierpoint. His previous technology and communications experience includes serving as President and COO of cloud operator Flexisphere, CFO of DSL.net, a nationwide internet service provider, CFO of Electric Lightwave, a metro and long haul fiber business, Executive Vice President of core optical switch manufacturer Tellium, and CFO of Frontier Communications (f/k/a Citizens Communications) during that company’s transformation from a diversified utility to one of the nation’s largest telecommunications companies.
Bob started his career as a Tax Specialist at KPMG and then as a Tax Attorney with GTE Corp. He broadened his professional expertise by serving as President & COO of the Financial Accounting Foundation, the overseer of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), and was named by CPA Magazine as one of the top 100 most influential practitioners.
Bob holds both BSE and MS degrees from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School) and a Juris Doctorate degree from Boston College Law School. He is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the Bars of several state and federal courts.
Tony Franchi - SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, SALES & MARKETING
Tony Franchi joined 365 Data Centers in June 2018. Tony brings a proven successful 18-year career in the Telecommunications arena where he has spent most of it in the Channel Partner Sales area. As the Sales and Marketing leader, Tony is responsible for revenue generation and driving long-term customer and partner relationships. This includes sales, product management, marketing and corporate communications, and business development. Tony is focused on developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new customer opportunities, developing and managing new strategic partnerships while producing results. Tony has held key sales positions at CenturyLink, Level3, Global Capacity, One Communications and DSL.net.
Nelson A. Weinstein - VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE & CHIEF ACCOUNTING OFFICER
Nelson A. Weinstein joined 365 Data Centers in December 2017 as Vice President, Finance & Chief Accounting Officer. In this role, he is responsible for oversight of all accounting processes including audited financial statement preparation, audit, tax and treasury functions. He also is the executive responsible for risk management, human resources and legal administration.
Nelson has over twenty-five years of senior financial executive experience in a range of industries including manufacturing, defense, construction and software related consulting. He has many years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer in private equity portfolio companies including a Carlyle company. Before coming to 365 Data Centers, he was CFO of Torrent Resources, Inc., a specialty construction contractor in Phoenix, AZ. Prior to that he was CFO of DHS Technologies LLC, a government contractor which manufactured mobile sheltering systems for the military. Nelson brings a broad scope of core competencies to 365 Data Centers, including administration of legal matters, human resources and risk management. He has also successfully managed large recapitalizations and merger and acquisition transactions.
Nelson received a Bachelor of Science in Business from New York Univeristy.
Jason Kiser - VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS
Jason Kiser brings over 20 years of experience in the data center and telecommunications industry in both technical and managerial roles to 365 Data Centers. He is responsible for operations of the company's entire portfolio of data center facilities and customer service support center. Before joining 365 Data Centers, Jason held senior management positions at Equinix and Switch and Data where he was responsible for maintenance, construction, customer deployments and overall operations of multiple locations. He is a proven leader who has built highly motivated teams focused on achieving operational, financial, and technical objectives with a strong customer focus. Jason served in the United States Air Force for eight years, successfully completing a number of operational assignments in various locations. He studied Technology Management at Marist College – Institute for Data Center Professionals, earning seven certifications in the field.
Jeff Slapp - VICE PRESIDENT, CLOUD SERVICES & SUPPORT
Jeff Slapp is a senior technologist and system architect with 20 years of experience in the fields of virtualization, enterprise architecture and software development. Jeff joined the Company in March 2018 as Vice President, Cloud Services & Support. Jeff leads the systems engineering team and is responsible for overseeing the cloud platform environment, research and development for future platform enhancements and supporting the revenue generating efforts across all cloud and managed services.
In addition, Jeff plays a critical role between technology and customer requirements and the solutions which unify them. Having previously been an entrepreneur, he understands the challenges that today’s businesses face. Jeff’s passion for technology coupled with his empathetic approach to customer service is what sets 365 Data Centers apart from the competition in a high-tech industry that desperately needs more of the human element.
Early in his career, Jeff managed information systems at Penn State University and led engineering teams at Iron Mountain and Citrix Systems. He then founded a successful technology consulting firm focused on the newly emerging x86 virtualization market. The firm quickly became a premier solution provider of virtualization technology and hosting solutions for customers all over south Florida and the Caribbean before it was acquired by Host.net in 2009. Jeff continued on with Host.net as VP of Virtualization Services and then as CTO designing and deploying what would later become one of the most resilient service provider cloud platforms, achieving more than five years of continuous uptime for its enterprise customers. Most recently, Jeff directed the North American systems engineering team at DataCore Software, a software-defined storage vendor..
Jeff studied astrophysics and computer science at Penn State University and is a US Navy veteran.
Soraya Moreno - ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT, NETWORK SERVICES
Soraya joined 365 Data Centers as Assistant Vice President of Network Services upon the acquisition of Host.net in September 2017. Boasting extensive experience in vendor management, auditing, accounting and financial analysis of mergers and acquisitions, she oversees network connectivity, vendor communication, installations and sales engineering.
Since becoming a part of the 365 team, Soraya has played an integral role in expanding the network capabilities to the Data Centers, advancing the company’s provisioning department and enhancing its processes to ensure success. She is instrumental in spearheading the policies and procedures needed to provide customers with the best installation experience and smoothest transition possible when switching to 365 services.
Prior to joining 365, Soraya served as Director of Billing and Provisioning for Host.net for 10 years where she managed billing, provisioning, sales engineering and network connectivity. She began her career in 2000 at WebUnited in the accounting department and achieved increasing responsibilities in human resources, financial reporting, provisioning, billing and payables due to her effective leadership and dedication to achieving efficiency. She enjoyed a successful seven-year tenure with WebUnited, which was acquired by Host.net from Continental Broadband in 2007.
